Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has consistently taken steps to adopt digital services and automation in its operations, as digital transformation has taken the center stage in recent years. The initiatives have strengthened AFZ's digital transformation journey, in which the global business hub has invested heavily over the past three years to drive crucial progress in its operations.
Ajman Free Zone highlighted its significant investments in its key digitization initiatives over the last three years, aimed at automating and modernizing the operations at AFZ, as part of the Ajman government's overall digital transformation agenda. Through its investments in recent years, the free zone has fully automated all its services and has witnessed a rise in e-transactions through its customer portal, a platform that offers five-star rated government solutions, in addition to ensuring fully paperless transactions. The free zone's implementation of a new system to digitize documents further contributed to this achievement.
Furthermore, AFZ had launched its advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) System in 2020, to link services and procedures to government systems. Since its implementation, the technology has processed a significant number of closed service requests, ensuring faster and more accurate results. According to the results of a recent survey, AFZ also received a high satisfaction rating from its business partners after implementing advanced technologies, strengthening its position as a global business hub that drives technological advancements in Ajman and the UAE.
